It can be terrifying to come to a point in your life when you realize you’re not ok with where your life has taken you. Maybe you’re ready to make changes, or maybe you just need support and a unbiased listening ear. No matter what brings you to therapy, it can be a great resource for you.

I approach counseling from a person-centered framework, which means you are in the driver’s seat and are an active part of the process. You are, after all, the expert on your own life and experiences. We will collaborate together to identify problems and areas of growth and make a plan together for your happier, healthier future.

I have extensive experience working with trauma, whether that is some big earthshaking trauma, or the smaller life-long traumas that an outsider looking in would not see. I utilize treatment modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) as well as talk therapy options such as CBT and brief solution focused therapy and most sessions are a blend of whatever you need in that session.

I enjoy working with all ages, but tend to specialize in young adults. That time period is often filled with new challenges as you find who you are, who you want to be, and where you want your life to go from here.
